Roth Update

The newest addition to the Roth family was named today - Kayla Devorah Roth. She weighed in at 8lbs. and 6 oz. both mom and baby are doing great!

FYI: Zahava (Zuber) Ryzman also had a baby girl this week!

Did you know that Rabbi Levy Deitsch is in Israel now for 10 days on a group tour!! Isn't it great to be a Shliach - it does have its rewards....... And for Miriam - she gets to see her mother as she came out to be with her - isn't it great how everyone gets to benefit!!!! Levy - make sure to post a summary of your visit.

Bar Mitzvah update

The Mochkin Family, together with family and friends, celebrated Yisrolik's Bar Mitzvah tonight at the Kretchme. The food (as always) was deeelicious and Yisrolik did an awesome job on his Mamar - followed by Berel on the keyboard. It was nice to see Uncle Sruly and Tanta Gutel together with Doba at the Bar Mitzvah as well as Cheshkie and Chavale and Sender. Also making an appearance were the Feders, Shterna Maline, Miriam and Moish, and Izzy and Randy ( besides for all the Crown Heightsers). Zlatie had two unsuccessful trips to the dressmaker before and during the beginning of the event but Thank g-d for Elisheva and Berel who on the third round made it back with another stunning creation by Zlatie!!!! She always manages to pull it off!

Tuesday - 27th of Tishrei - Yuda Holztberg celebrated a birthday.
Wednesday - 28th of Tishrei - Gutel Edelman celebrated a birthday, Mendy ( ben Yossi) Edelman celebrated a birthday, and Nechemia and Dvory Deitsch celebrated their 9th anniversary.

Mendel Zucker's Tishrei experience

Mendel visited Mendel Mochkin in San Francisco, on aseres yimei teshuva, and chaim mochkin, his neighbor here in Crown Heights, on chol hamoed! B"h they all get along! mendel also went to the guiness book of world records in LA and became the world's largest baby for a day. he enjoyed some yummy soup on erev yom kippur. a gutten moed!
